Summary: The Automation Process Engineer role at LNER involves designing and implementing automation solutions using Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and No/Low Code tools, particularly UiPath and Microsoft Power Platform. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract aimed at enhancing LNER's automation capabilities and delivering measurable value across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct process analysis, design, and documentation to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Gather technical requirements and assess the feasibility of automating identified processes.
• Develop detailed solution design documents for automation developers and ensure alignment with organizational policies.
• Collaborate with development teams and act as a liaison between business users and RPA/Power Platform developers.
• Support change management and training for business units adopting automated solutions.
• Monitor the performance of automated processes and recommend enhancements.

Key Skills:

• Strong understanding of process analysis, mapping, design, improvement, and optimization.
• Familiarity with RPA and Low/No Code tools (e.g., UiPath, Power Platform, MS Dynamics).
• Proficiency in UiPath tools such as Automation Hub, Task Mining, Dashboards, and Insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in creating process documentation and workflow diagrams.
• Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Extensive experience in process design or similar roles.
