Summary: The Automation Engineer (Ansible Developer) role focuses on automating and optimizing IT processes within a dynamic DevOps team. Key Responsibilities:
- Building, improving, and maintaining Ansible playbooks and roles
- Automating deploys, configurations, and application releases
- Improving existing Ansible scripts and automation processes
- Integrating Ansible with CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitLab and Azure DevOps
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues in automated environments
- Working in a multidisciplinary team of DevOps specialists, cloud experts, and developers
- Keeping documentation up-to-date and ensuring secure and compliant processes
Key Skills:
- In-depth experience with Ansible
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC)
- Familiarity with both Windows and Linux environments
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD or Azure DevOps
- Knowledge of Hashicorp Vault, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Nexus is a plus
- Fluent in Dutch and possess Dutch nationality
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Proactive, problem-solving, and strong communication skills
