Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver marketing consent projects, from requirement gathering to implementation and testing.
- Collaborate with legal and privacy teams to ensure consent processes comply with data protection regulations.
- Map and document customer consent journeys, identifying data capture points and flows across systems.
- Define and validate consent-related business rules, policies, and governance models.
- Support the implementation and configuration of Consent Management Platforms (CMPs) or preference centres.
- Identify opportunities for enhancing consent-driven marketing personalization while maintaining compliance.
- Create detailed business and functional requirements, process flows, and data mapping documentation.
- Conduct impact assessments for consent-related changes across marketing platforms and customer touchpoints.
- Collaborate with data and IT teams to define data ingestion, storage, and sharing processes.
- Monitor and report on consent metrics and identify areas for improvement.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience leading marketing consent or preference management projects.
- Strong knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, PECR) and their application in marketing.
- Experience with Consent Management Platforms (CMPs), preference centres, and opt-in/opt-out processes.
- Expertise in gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
- Skilled in creating process maps, data flow diagrams, and customer journey models.
- Experience conducting impact assessments and defining business rules.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements for development teams.
- Understanding of customer data models, marketing databases, and consent-related data structures.
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (MAPs) and customer engagement tools.
