Summary: The Assistant Procurement Specialist will join the Strategic Procurement team within the Construction division on a 12-month fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. The role involves supporting contract documentation preparation, contributing to collaborative procurement efforts, and conducting research and analysis to enhance procurement processes. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers to ensure contract effectiveness and will engage in various procurement activities as directed. Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in delivering the contract delivery plan and support contract documentation preparation.
• Assist in the delivery of frameworks to customers for collaborative procurement benefits.
• Organize User Intelligence Groups for designated commodities to enhance efficiency and value.
• Conduct research and analysis to support the procurement team's contract processes.
• Liaise with Scotland Excel Project and Account Managers to monitor contract and supplier effectiveness.
• Maintain a flexible approach to work across all areas of procurement as directed.
