Summary: The Finance Transformation Assistant Manager will play a crucial role in the Change team at Deloitte, focusing on driving innovation and best practices within Finance. This position involves leading change projects, enhancing processes, and fostering collaboration across teams to improve efficiency and standardization. The role offers opportunities to influence strategic development and learn from experienced professionals in the finance sector. The successful candidate will be expected to manage multiple projects while building strong relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading small change projects and supporting larger change initiatives across Finance teams.
- Analyzing and challenging existing finance processes to drive standardization and improvements.
- Identifying opportunities for Finance to add commercial value and supporting technology adoption.
- Project managing and reporting on projects to ensure transparency on deadlines and risks.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Supporting change management activities and business case development.
- Delivering tasks on time and managing multiple pieces of work simultaneously.
- Contributing to firmwide transformation projects and enhancing the team's brand and reputation.
Key Skills:
- Experience in project management and leading continuous improvement projects.
- Understanding of core finance processes and finance strategy disciplines.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Access, SQL, and MS PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to build relationships across all business levels and work in teams.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and enthusiastic about continuous improvement.
- Qualified or part-qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Experience in a professional services firm is advantageous.
