Summary: The Assistant Management Accountant at Biscuit International UK plays a crucial role in supporting the Finance team through financial analysis, performance reporting, and cost modelling. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and assist with month-end close
- Monitor financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities for cost savings
- Prepare weekly performance reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records and support year-end close processes
- Collaborate with departments to gather financial data and support decision-making
- Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and group reporting
- Produce standard costs for new projects and analyse key cost drivers
- Support customer pricing negotiations with detailed cost breakdowns
- Provide cover for critical finance tasks during leave periods
- Contribute to ad hoc financial projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Key Skills:
- Part-qualified or fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA accountant
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar finance role
- Strong Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to explain complex financial data clearly
- Commercial awareness and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Experience in FMCG or manufacturing is desirable

This is a key role supporting the business with insightful financial analysis, performance reporting, and cost modelling to drive informed decision-making. You’ll work closely with the Operations Director and wider teams to monitor factory performance, develop KPIs, and support pricing and forecasting activities.
