Summary: The Assistant HR Business Partner role is a 12-month interim position based in Birmingham, with hybrid working arrangements and some travel to London and Crewe. The position involves supporting the Workforce Development/OD function by analyzing HR data, developing strategies, and facilitating engagement events. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of generalist HR and/or OD, with a preference for experience in the Rail sector. This role offers a salary of up to £47,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gathering, interpreting, analyzing, and presenting HR/OD data.
  • Conducting research and analysis to support new strategies and action plans.
  • Maintaining up-to-date information on HR practices and trends.
  • Building and organizing a library of HR/OD documentation.
  • Driving continuous improvement in HR practices.
  • Organizing and facilitating engagement events and workshops.
  • Supporting benchmarking exercises with external organizations.

Key Skills:

  • Broad knowledge of generalist HR and/or OD.
  • Experience with HR data analysis and presentation.
