Summary: Altum Consulting is seeking an experienced Assistant Financial Accountant for a UK charity during a transitional period. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the month-end process: accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, and payroll journals
- Management of accounts payable and accounts receivables using best practice
- Provide hands-on support with day-to-day financial processing
- Share knowledge and offer training to finance and non-finance colleagues
- Help document and streamline financial procedures
- Contribute to finance projects including systems enhancements, control improvements, and ad hoc reporting
Key Skills:
- Experience managing end-to-end accounts payable process using best practice
- Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting systems
- Solid background in financial reporting and month-end processes
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Confident communicator who enjoys problem-solving and working collaboratively

What You'll Be Doing
