Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-volume cold outreach (e.g. multiple hundreds of calls p/w) to generate new business opportunities
- Onboard merchants to Client Shop - by taking part in merchant pitches
- Collaborate with the sales and business development teams to develop outreach strategies
- Research and identify potential leads, gathering accurate contact information and key decision-maker details
- Qualify leads for the Business Development team
- Track and manage all outreach activities using CRM tools
- Stay up to date with eCommerce trends and industry insights to improve prospecting techniques
Key Skills:
- A passion for sales, relationship-building, and helping businesses grow
- 3 years+ of experience in an SDR, Business Development, or outbound sales role
- Good understanding of eCommerce trends —you understand the industry, key players, and common challenges - particularly around (i) Beauty, (ii) Fashion, (iii) Home/Living and (IV) FMCG and (v) Electronics verticals
- A self-starter with a proactive approach to lead generation and outreach
- Exceptional communication skills—confident, persuasive, and comfortable handling objections
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage outreach efforts effectively
