APPRENTICESHIP - Road Logistics Healthcare Operations (Starting October 2025)

Summary: The role is an entry-level apprenticeship in Road Logistics Healthcare Operations at Kuehne + Nagel, focusing on the transportation of medical supplies and equipment. Key Responsibilities:

• Understand Road Freight operations to handle inbound customer enquiries.
• Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding shipments, order status, and service offerings.
• Fully understand customers’ needs ensuring efficient delivery and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth and effective customer service.
• Ensure customs information is inputted into the system correctly and relevant documentation is uploaded promptly.
• Complete all relevant Good Distribution Practice (GDP) training and ensure ongoing compliance while maintaining data confidentiality.
• Communicate with key contacts through various forms of communication methods.
• Identify opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Skills:

• Five GCSEs at grades 3 – 9 / A*-D including Maths & English.
• Passion for providing excellent customer service.
• Strong work ethic and effective communication skills.
• Good planning and organization skills.
• Ability to multitask and be a self-starter.
• Previous use of Microsoft Outlook and Excel is beneficial.
