Summary: The Application Support Engineer role focuses on providing hands-on support for the ASPECT CTRM system within the Commodities industry. The position requires collaboration with end-users to resolve issues and enhance business systems critical to the trading lifecycle. I am looking for a hands-on technologist with experience in the Commodities industry who is passionate about technology and has experience supporting enterprise-wide systems. The successful candidate is adept at partnering with end-users to log issues, analyse issues, provide tactical/strategical solutions and ultimately deliver tangible business value & benefit. This role will working on different business systems critical for the trading life cycle.
You will have:
- Minimum 3 years of working experience supporting ASPECT CTRM system.
- A strong understanding of commodity trading, ideally around base metals or concentrates.
- Working experience of trading lifecycle processes including pricing, risk, logistics, and settlement.
- Familiarity with trade capture, mark-to-market, and P&L generation would be helpful.
