Key Responsibilities:

  • Owning the IT relationship with the business, acting as a trusted partner and point of escalation
  • Managing a rolling portfolio of technology change projects, from business analysis through to delivery
  • Acting as application owner across major business applications — full lifecycle from implementation to decommission
  • Leading stakeholder meetings to provide visibility on project progress, risks and incidents
  • Managing vendor relationships, SLAs and contractual governance
  • Overseeing IT budget planning and charge-back processes for the division
  • Leading and developing a team of IT business analysts
  • Ensuring applications are compliant, documented and up to date in the CMDB

Key Skills:

  • Proven IT application / senior IT relationship management experience in financial services
  • Strong background in Financial Services, Investment Banking, M&A or CRM application environments
  • Solid project management and business analysis skills (Prince2, PMP or equivalent a plus)
  • Confident managing vendors, budgets and demanding senior stakeholders
  • A natural leader who can inspire both direct reports and matrix-managed teams
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
  • Global outlook — comfortable supporting users and stakeholders across multiple locations

Application Portfolio Manager, Banking London, City 6 month contract £600 - £700 day rate inside IR35 OR FTC

A prestigious, globally recognised investment bank is looking for an experienced Application Portfolio Manager / IT Business Relationship Manager to join their technology team on a 6-month basis. This is a high-profile, varied role sitting at the intersection of technology and the business. You'll be the go-to person for IT across the division; owning the relationship, the applications portfolio, and the delivery. Available as either an inside IR35 day rate contract or a Fixed Term Contract - whichever works best for you.
