Summary: The Analytical Development Scientist role is a temporary position focused on the development of novel and generic pharmaceutical products. Key Responsibilities:
- Developing, validating, and transferring analytical methods to support the characterisation of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and drug products
- Measuring critical physicochemical properties to identify potential stability, manufacturing, and performance issues
- Actively managing priorities and schedules to meet or exceed project milestones
- Authoring and reviewing technical documents, such as protocols, reports, test methods, and operating procedures
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and execute studies
Key Skills:
- A proven, recent track record in analytical chemistry, with experience in techniques such as HPLC, LC-MS, GC, GC-MS, FT-IR, UV-vis, and physical characterisation
- Recent hands-on experience in analytical method development and validation, particularly in HPLC and dissolution
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Sciences
- Ideally 2 or more years of experience in analytical development
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- A working knowledge of regulatory requirements, including FDA, EMEA, and VICH/ICH guidelines
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
