Summary: The AI Workflow & Automation Specialist Contractor will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business users and AI capabilities within a global company undergoing significant transformation. This position involves hands-on engagement with teams to identify AI opportunities, develop effective workflows, and promote AI literacy across the organization. The contractor will be responsible for delivering measurable outcomes and enhancing operational efficiency through AI tools and prompt engineering. The role requires strong stakeholder engagement and a proactive approach to problem-solving in traditional industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sitting with teams to understand their day-to-day processes and identifying opportunities where AI can add value
- Building and refining effective prompts, templates, and workflows using enterprise AI tools, GPT-based technologies, and proprietary data
- Demonstrating and enabling business users to adopt AI in their daily work
- Rapidly prototyping solutions and delivering measurable outcomes
- Promoting AI literacy across the organisation through demos and hands-on support
Key Skills:
- Strong, practical experience with AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, prompt engineering, Excel-based automations)
- Excellent stakeholder engagement - able to build trust and uncover business challenges
- Proven ability to deliver quick, impactful wins with AI in business environments
- Exceptional communication skills and business acumen
- Background in traditional, operationally-complex industries (e.g., logistics, energy, manufacturing, etc.) is a bonus
- Self-starter, proactive, and hands-on - not a strategist or manager
