Summary: The Senior AI & Machine Learning Engineer will design and enhance AI-driven document generation systems, utilizing large language models and traditional machine learning algorithms. This temporary role requires a strong background in AI, machine learning, and natural language processing, along with hands-on Python programming experience. The position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop user-friendly applications and optimize AI models for improved efficiency and accuracy. The role is based in Macclesfield, with a hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement generative AI models for structured outputs.
- Research and apply advanced machine learning algorithms to enhance model efficiency.
- Create user-friendly applications using Streamlit.
- Handle large datasets, perform data cleaning, and apply feature engineering.
- Deploy AI models on cloud platforms using containerization and orchestration tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Optimize and fine-tune GPT models for improved output quality.
- Conduct research to integrate new methodologies into existing processes.
- Debug and resolve issues in AI models and infrastructure.
- Document technical specifications and processes for ongoing development.
- Support the integration of AI solutions into existing systems.
Key Skills:
- At least 5 years of experience in generative AI, machine learning, and NLP.
- Proficiency in Streamlit for creating web applications.
- Understanding of knowledge graph concepts and experience with related tools.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong software development skills in Python and Scala.
- Experience with CI/CD automation and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Prior experience in Azure AI stack.
- Knowledge of large language models (GPT, Claude, Gemini).
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with decision-making algorithms and multi-agent systems.
- Strong foundation in linear algebra, calculus, probability, and statistics.
- Experience with multi-cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
