Summary: The Agile Scrum Master at NorthMark Compute & Cloud (NMC²) will play a crucial role in managing the governance framework and driving Agile transformation within the Delivery Team. This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of technical initiatives that align with the organization's long-term objectives. The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile ceremonies and foster a culture of agility and continuous improvement across teams. A hands-on approach and adaptability to different project contexts are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the adoption of Agile methodology across the organisation, promoting agile principles and practices.
  • Facilitate core agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Organise and facilitate quarterly planning sessions across NMC², ensuring alignment with organisational SKRs.
  • Capture cross-functional dependencies, capacity demands, and prioritisation requirements for actionable quarterly plans.
  • Support the Portfolio Manager in maintaining governance throughout the Delivery Model lifecycle.
  • Identify delivery risks and impediments, facilitating resolution through collaboration and feedback loops.
  • Design and deliver agile training workshops and learning resources to build internal capability.
  • Collaborate with product and technical leadership to align team backlogs with strategic roadmaps.

The Position We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Agile Scrum Master to join our expanding Delivery Team. In partnership with the Portfolio Manager, this role will be instrumental in managing our governance framework, driving Agile transformation, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-impact technical initiatives aligned with our long-term organisational objective As part of a team of Scrum Masters, you will work closely with fellow Delivery Team members, Product Owners, and the Technical Leadership Group. You will facilitate key Agile ceremonies -including Sprint Planning, Quarterly Planning, and Daily Scrums, to ensure that strategic initiatives are effectively planned, prioritised, and executed to the highest standards and to the satisfaction of our customers. Your leadership will be pivotal in cultivating a culture of agility, transparency, and continuous improvement across teams and departments. Whilst we are seeking Agile Scrum Masters, we are particularly interested in hands-on individuals who are willing to engage across the entire Delivery Lifecycle as needed. You will be pragmatic and adaptable, able to tailor your approach based on team maturity, project complexity, and business context.

Proactively identify delivery risks and impediments. Facilitate resolution through collaboration, escalation, and continuous feedback loops. Design and deliver agile training workshops, onboarding sessions, and learning resources to build internal capability and foster a shared understanding of agile principles.
