Summary: The Accounts Receivable Accountant role is a 9-month fixed-term contract based in Central London, focusing on managing end-to-end accounts receivable processes for a prestigious luxury brand. The position requires meticulous attention to detail and proficiency in accounting principles, particularly within a retail environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for monthly and annual closing activities, reconciliations, and general receivables tasks. Immediate start is required for this on-site position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support of end-to-end accounts receivable responsibilities for the E-Commerce and Boutique stores business areas.
- Perform monthly and annual closing activities to ensure all receivables are accurate, including monthly reconciliation of receivables balance sheet ledger accounts and annual write-off of aged balances.
- Preparation of schedules and reconciliations for the year-end statutory audit.
- General receivables responsibilities including daily sales reconciliation, daily bank reconciliation, monitoring and follow-up of customer balances (credit notes, gift cards, and deposits), and monitoring and follow-up of store settlement differences.
Key Skills:
- Experience of accounts receivable processes within a medium to large organisation, ideally within a retail environment.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt and implement efficiencies within accounts receivable.
- Great Excel skills including knowledge of Excel formulas to manipulate large data sets and complete and present analysis.
- Background in double entry accounting and understanding of accounting principles.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient user of SAP; knowledge of Cegid beneficial but not essential.

Offering: Salary up to £45,000 basic, depending on experience. Lunch and Travel in addition to basic salary.
