Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of self-assessment tax returns
- Preparation of annual and corporation accounts
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Handle HMRC queries and correspondence
- General admin tasks as and when required
- Management of client financial records and bookkeeping
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients via phone and email
- Commit to personal professional development and share knowledge with peers
Key Skills:
- ACA or ACCA qualified (Part Qualified will be considered)
- Experience working in an accounting practice
- Proficiency in financial management, accounting, and bookkeeping practices
- Knowledge of tax preparation, tax compliance, and understanding of UK tax regulations
- Skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Familiarity with accounting software and tools such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and client relationship management skills
