Summary: The Accommodation Assistants will support the Accommodation team at UWE Bristol during the busy summer period, focusing on tasks related to student accommodation preparation, inspections, and cleaning. This role requires flexibility and the ability to work collaboratively across various accommodation sites. Candidates must be prepared for a physically demanding role and available to work daily from Monday to Saturday. The position is temporary, spanning from June 23, 2025, to September 19, 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of student accommodation following student departures.
• Manage summer accommodation usage and new student arrivals.
• Perform cleaning and inspections of accommodation facilities.
• Collaborate with team members on various tasks during the summer period.
• Check and maintain cleanliness of areas and items such as ovens, mattresses, and bathrooms.
• Remove rubbish and other student items, including potentially dirty items.
• Communicate with contractors regarding cleaning standards and tasks.
• Attend on-site training and staff induction.
• Work from multiple accommodation sites as required.
