Working with the people of Liverpool to improve lives and support communities is at the heart of why we were founded and why we exist today.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join the Academic Quality and Standards Team, within the university’s Academic Registry. This senior position will play a key role in supporting quality and standards, with a specific focus upon the university’s collaborative provision, both within the UK and overseas. The role will work alongside the Head of Academic Quality and Standards and fellow Academic Quality and Standards Team Leaders to develop, oversee and implement institutional policy regarding quality and standards and collaborative provision.

The role will proactively support the university in developing and maintaining high quality academic partnerships by managing the operation of key activities such as, but not limited to, partner approval, due diligence and contract development and maintenance. You will also be required to regularly work with members of the university’s Executive Leadership Team and Directorate. We are seeking someone with a strong knowledge of Higher Education quality frameworks and regulatory requirements, ideally in the context of collaborative provision. An effective communicator, we are looking for someone who is highly organised, pro-active, solution focussed and methodical. You may be required to travel within the UK and internationally.

The role is available fixed term for up to 12 months to cover a period of maternity within the team. We anticipate holding interviews for this post mid-September. Informal inquiries may be made to Andrew Jarrett, Head of Academic Quality and Standards at A.J.Jarrett@ljmu.ac.uk.
