Summary: The 2nd Line IT Support Analyst will be responsible for managing and supporting the implementation of IT infrastructure during the construction phase of a Decommissioning & Carbon Capture and Storage project. This role involves supervising the installation of IT equipment, providing technical support, and managing helpdesk activities. The position is based on-site in Hollywell, North Wales, and is classified as inside IR35. The contract is for 12 months with potential extensions up to 3 years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow and supervise the installation of IT equipment with vendors to make the domain network and servers available.
- Support the intervention of external providers for domain network installation and configuration of IT items (Wi-Fi AP, switches, printers).
- Identify software and hardware problems and run diagnostic programs or use test equipment to locate the source of problems.
- Maintain security and functionality through application of program temporary fixes.
- Perform application maintenance operations.
- Provide technical and infrastructure support for the ICT environment.
- Maintain password, user access, and change control procedures ensuring appropriate documentation has been completed and sign-off attained.
- Handle and solve helpdesk tickets to ensure new joiners can access all IT tools.
- Supervise helpdesk activities once established.
Key Skills:
- Technical diploma or degree in computer engineering or similar.
- 4-6 years of experience in operations of network architecture, infrastructure operations, and application maintenance.
- Knowledge of networking installation and infrastructure maintenance.

2nd Line Support Analyst to be responsible for:-
As Senior Site IT Support you will be part of a tam working on Decommissioning & Carbon Capture and Storage project. You will join my clients team during the construction phase. As Level 2, you will manage and support the implementation of the IT infrastructure to be used by the employees who will come in the next months. After this phase you will manage the updates and coordinate the helpdesk activities.
2nd Line Support Analyst will:-

Additional note:
For the first months, you will handle and solve helpdesk tickets to ensure the new joiners can access all the IT tools. Once a helpdesk is created you will supervise their activities.
2nd Line IT Support Analyst to have:-
Education: technical diploma or degree in computer engineering or similar
Experience: 4-6 years in operations of network architecture, infrastructure operations and application maintenance
Technical skills: Networking installation and infrastructure maintenance knowledge
