Husco is involved in the design, development and manufacture of hydraulic and electro-hydraulic control valves for construction vehicles, agricultural vehicles, and fork lift trucks. Our customer base includes companies such as JCB, Caterpillar, Manitou, Volvo and many other large OEMs. The Runcorn operation, serving the UK and European markets, currently has nearly 300 employees and has been in operation for 40 years. Role

We are offering a 12 month placement based within either our Design Engineering or Manufacturing Process Engineering teams. Our Engineers work closely with experienced engineers, customers and suppliers from the design stage to production, developing existing suppliers and building relationships with new suppliers. A successful Engineer is hands-on and has strong technical and analytical background. These skills, combined with flexibility, a problem-solving orientation, solid communication skills and attention to detail, enable successful product design, program implementation and problem solving.
