Summary: My client, a multinational company specializing in Customer Communication Management, is seeking a Freelance Accountant with significant experience to join their Vienna headquarters. The role is part-time, requiring 20-25 hours per week, with remote work allowed up to 90% after an initial on-site onboarding. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting and financial reporting in Austria, along with fluency in German and English.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle bank accounts and supplier processes.
- Collect credit from customers.
- Communicate closely with the external accounting team in Germany.
Key Skills:
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience as a general Accountant.
- Proven experience in accounting and financial reporting in Austria.
- Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance in Austria.
- Fluency in both German and English.
- Italian skills are a strong plus but not mandatory.

My client is a multinational company specialised in Customer Communication Management, and for their Headquarters in Vienna I'm currently looking for Freelance support in the form of an experienced Accountant (m/f/x) who's immediately available to join their team.
Framework:
- Type of contract: Freelance
- Start: ASAP
- Duration of contract: 6 months
- Capacity: part-time, 20/25 hours a week
- Location: Vienna, Austria
- Workplace: Remote allowed up to 90%- on-site presence in Vienna for initial on boarding (1-2 days) in Vienna is highly desired.
Requirements:
- Experienced general Accountant (minimum 4-5 years).
- Proven experience of accounting and financial reporting in Austria.
- Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance in Austria.
- Fluency level in both German and English (legal documentation in German).
- Italian skills as a strong plus-but not mandatory.
As Responsible for accounting (not payroll) of Austria and Germany into this company - you will be mainly in charge of:
- Handling bank accounts and supplier processes.
- Collecting credit from customers.
- The accounting team in Germany is externalised- you will be in close and direct communication with this external partner.
