Summary: The Test Manager role focuses on leading and enhancing the testing capabilities within an organization that prioritizes robust testing to mitigate the risks associated with underperforming applications. The position involves developing testing practices, overseeing testing activities across various project phases, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and continuously improve testing practices and procedures.
  • Lead testing activity across the full lifecycle, including the creation of test strategies, plans and scripts for SIT, UAT, OAT, performance and security testing.
  • Design, track and interpret formal test metrics and ensure structured reporting.
  • Ensure project teams have appropriate processes, tools and frameworks to support effective testing.
  • Oversee and guide project teams from a testing perspective, ensuring alignment with the delivery lifecycle.
  • Communicate clearly with senior business stakeholders, development teams and management.
  • Own and maintain the overall testing strategy, ensuring consistent application across all project phases.
  • Apply sound judgement to ensure testing approaches meet business and system requirements.
  • Identify, manage and escalate testing risks and issues.
  • Provide testing consultancy and expertise to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Manage workload effectively within a fast-paced environment.

Key Skills:

  • Strong experience with Zoho or solid expertise with testing other CRM systems.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience engaging at senior levels.
  • Proven ability to identify testing risks across projects and design effective mitigation strategies.
  • Experience working across multiple delivery methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
  • Confident, organised and proactive, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Background in financial services.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
  • Experience working with third-party suppliers.
  • Broad experience across all test phases, with the ability to produce meaningful test documentation and metrics.
