Young Person's Resilience Worker

Summary: The Young Person's Resilience Worker at Change Grow Live plays a crucial role in supporting young individuals aged 10-18 in Stockton-on-Tees, focusing on substance use issues. This position involves delivering interventions, managing a caseload, and collaborating with various agencies to promote resilience and healthier lifestyles among young people. Key Responsibilities:

• Support young people from entry into the service through their treatment and recovery journey.
• Provide screening, assessment, psychosocial interventions, and integrated care planning.
• Identify and respond to potential safeguarding issues effectively.
• Reduce drug and alcohol-related harm to young people and the community.
• Promote involvement of carers, service users, and the community.
• Advocate for access to partnership services.
• Work with young people to achieve positive health and wellbeing outcomes.
• Engage directly with children and young people in the community.
• Manage a caseload and deliver group interventions and community events.

Key Skills:

• Experience working with young people and understanding their challenges.
• Knowledge of safeguarding concerns and the Fraser Competence framework.
• Understanding of drug and alcohol issues and related best practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with IT competency.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and meet deadlines.
• Excellent team working and interpersonal skills.
