Key Responsibilities:

  • Support young people from entry into the service through their treatment and recovery journey.
  • Provide screening, assessment, psychosocial interventions, and integrated care planning.
  • Identify and respond to potential safeguarding issues.
  • Reduce drug and alcohol-related harm to young people and the community.
  • Promote involvement of carers, service users, and the community.
  • Advocate for access to partnership services.
  • Work flexibly across sites as required.

Key Skills:

  • Experience working with young people and knowledge of their challenges.
  • Understanding of safeguarding concerns and the Fraser Competence framework.
  • Knowledge of drug and alcohol issues and experience in a related field.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices in substance misuse treatment for young people.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with high IT competency.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent team working and interpersonal skills.
