Summary: The Young Person's Resilience Worker at Change Grow Live is responsible for supporting young individuals aged 10-18 in Nottingham, focusing on substance use issues. This role involves direct engagement with the community, delivering interventions, and collaborating with various agencies to promote resilience and healthier lifestyles. The position is full-time, with a 12-month fixed-term contract, and emphasizes a compassionate approach to empower young people in their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support young people from entry into the service through their treatment and recovery journey.
  • Conduct screening, assessment, and psychosocial interventions.
  • Manage a caseload and provide care planning and post-treatment support.
  • Identify and respond to safeguarding issues effectively.
  • Reduce drug and alcohol-related harm to young people and the community.
  • Promote involvement of carers, service users, and the community.
  • Advocate for access to partnership services.
  • Facilitate educational workshops and attend safeguarding meetings.
  • Work flexibly across various sites as required.

Key Skills:

  • Experience working with young people and understanding their challenges.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding concerns and the Fraser Competence framework.
  • Strong understanding of drug and alcohol issues and related best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High degree of personal IT competency.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and meet deadlines.
  • Strong team working and interpersonal skills.

Salary (Rate): 32802.35
