Project Management (Operations) Year in Industry Placement 2026- 2027 Job Location: UK – Crawley - West Sussex Employment: full-time, 12 month FTC Reporting to: Operations Director Overview Acron Aviation Solutions are ‘Creating Safer Skies’. From our computer-based solutions all the way to our state-of-the-art Full Flight Simulators (FFS), improving the training experience and creating safer skies is at the heart of everything we do. Our Fixed Training Devices (FTD) and FFS feature aircraft-specific flight decks, offering the form, fit, feel, and function of the actual aircraft. Our airline pilot training systems covers the complete training spectrum; whether its systems knowledge, procedure training or jet transition we have the solutions for every airline. We are looking for an Industrial Placement Candidate (IPC) with a proactive ‘can do’ attitude to work in our Operations team. You will be responsible for providing support to the global Acron Aviation Commercial Training Solutions (CTS) business in a challenging fast-paced environment. The IPC will be required to assist in the bidding and capture management of projects across the business units throughout the entire Project Life Cycle, ensuring comprehensive, competitive and customer focused bid proposals that are produced for a wide-ranging variety and complexity for new business opportunities. The Operations team collaborates with every aspect of the business, in order to create solutions and respond to customer’s every needs. The IPC will gain insight and exposure to engineering, supply chain, sales, project management, finance, commercial, and marketing to name but a few of the key functions with whom interactions occur on a daily basis. Other key aspects include but not limited to, influencing key stakeholders and overseeing presentation to C-suite to obtain approvals. In addition to the day-to-day activities, the IPC will participate in internal strategic initiatives to drive change and continuous improvement.
