Summary: The Yard Services Electrician role at GRAHAM involves planning and installing temporary site electrics across various locations in the UK and Ireland. Based in Dromore, Northern Ireland, the position requires collaboration with site teams and management to ensure efficient electrical solutions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Review local internal power supplies for temporary power solutions and coordinate with the Graham manager/engineer team.
  • Install cabled and wireless internet systems with Graham's IT department, including BT portable 5G and Starlink satellite systems.
  • Design temporary site installations, including cable sizing and installation methods, for a range of setups from single offices to large multi-site compounds.
  • Install LV panels, sub-boards, floodlighting, and 110V transformers.
  • Plan for future adjustments to site boundaries, hut relocations, and cable route alterations.
  • Maintain PAT testing schedules and perform Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) for offices, buildings, and site installations.
  • Collaborate with sub-contractors for network mains supplies, street lighting, and CCTV installations.
  • Provide maintenance to Dromore yard office buildings, canteens, and workshops, including PAT testing and equipment repairs.

Overview

GRAHAM is seeking a skilled Yard Services Electrician. The successful candidate will report to the Yard Services Manager and will play a crucial role in planning and installing temporary site electrics across various locations. This permanent position is based in Dromore but requires travel to sites throughout the UK and Ireland.
