Summary: The Workspace Administrator role is part of the Client Digital Enterprise Services team, focusing on supporting the infrastructure and migration from Google Workspace to M365. The position involves troubleshooting migration issues, managing data remediation, and collaborating with various teams to ensure a smooth transition. The role requires regular interaction with users and stakeholders to address their needs during the migration process. This is a contract position based in Bristol, UK, with a hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the point of contact for data remediation during the migration from Google Workspace to M365.
  • Troubleshoot migration issues and modify data in Google Workspace and AODocs.
  • Maintain regular contact with users to understand their needs and challenges.
  • Manage and triage incoming migration issues.
  • Work with the Digital Records Management team to manage the AODocs document library.
  • Collaborate with the Project Delivery team on data migration from Google Workspace.
  • Create documentation, processes, training materials, and service desk knowledge base articles for migration issues.

Key Skills:

  • Experience in third line support within a busy IT support function.
  • Experience in data migrations and migration tools.
  • Proficiency in using Google Apps Manager commands (GAM).
  • Experience managing SaaS-based messaging platforms such as Google and Office 365.

Job Description:

Purpose: The role is part of the Client Digital Enterprise Services team which provides, maintains, and supports the infrastructure, telephony, network, WiFi, end-user devices, cloud capability and software across the entire Client estate. Our user base includes other Public Sector Clients.

Reporting into the Cloud Operations Manager you will be a Migration Remediation Resource in the Clients Administration Workspace Team

What you'll do

You will act as the point of contact for any data remediation required as part of our move into M365 from Google Workspace. You will be troubleshooting migration issues and modifying data in Google Workspace and AODocs, either via the user UI, the admin consoles, or via API tools such as GAM.

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintain regular contact with users to understand their needs and challenges
  • Maintain and build the relationship with the Microsoft migration team
  • Manage and triage incoming migration issues
  • Work with the Digital Records Management team in managing the AODocs document library
  • Work with the Project Delivery team in the migration of data out of Google Workspace
  • Creating documentation, processes, training materials, and service desk knowledge base articles, for any important migration issues.

It's essential that you have:

  • Experience in working as third line support in a busy IT support function
