Summary: The Workday Systems Specialist role is an 18-month fixed-term contract focused on managing and optimizing Workday for a leading FMCG organization. The position involves day-to-day administration, reporting, and collaboration with HR users globally. The specialist will influence how over 3,500 colleagues utilize Workday and drive data-led HR initiatives. Fluency in German and English is required, along with a strong background in Workday administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own day-to-day Workday administration (configuration, maintenance, support) across HCM, Recruiting, Talent/Performance, Absence, and Time Tracking
  • Build and refine reports, support HR users globally, and drive continuous process improvement
  • Balance operational requests with hands-on optimisation projects—no siloed tasks, direct business impact
  • Collaborate with external implementation and support partners for complex integrations and advanced technical topics

Key Skills:

  • Solid Workday experience as an administrator or system owner (not just an end user)
  • Strong reporting and data analysis capability within Workday
  • Proven stakeholder management skills and a service-oriented mindset supporting international HR users
  • Fluent German and English (verbal and written)
  • Willingness to be on site in Hamburg three days per week

Salary: €70,000–80,000 + end-of-assignment retention bonus
