Summary: The Workday R2R Lead will oversee and enhance the Record to Report workstream in a global Workday Financials environment, ensuring efficient and compliant financial reporting processes. This role requires collaboration with Finance and Audit teams to optimize workflows and maintain data integrity. The position demands expertise in Workday Financials, particularly in General Ledger, Consolidation, and Reporting. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in a significant Workday transformation program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead implementations and ongoing enhancements of Workday R2R modules, including General Ledger, Consolidation, and Reporting
- Configure and maintain R2R-related functionality in line with accounting and compliance standards
- Collaborate with Finance and Audit teams to optimise financial close processes and reporting workflows
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and outputs
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve R2R processes
- Act as a subject matter expert in Workday Financials within the Record to Report domain
Key Skills:
- Proven experience with Workday Financials, specifically within General Ledger, Consolidation, and Reporting
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and statutory reporting requirements
- Hands-on experience in financial close processes and reporting cycle optimisation
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and within complex global environments
