Summary: The Workday Record to Report (R2R) Lead is responsible for managing and optimizing the Record to Report workstream within a global Workday Financials environment. This role emphasizes delivering accurate and efficient financial reporting processes through Workday's R2R capabilities. The position requires collaboration with Finance and Audit teams to enhance financial close processes and ensure data integrity. The role is hybrid, requiring two days on-site in London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead implementations and ongoing enhancements of Workday R2R modules, including General Ledger, Consolidation, and Reporting
- Configure and maintain R2R-related functionality in line with accounting and compliance standards
- Collaborate with Finance and Audit teams to optimise financial close processes and reporting workflows
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and outputs
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve R2R processes
- Act as a subject matter expert in Workday Financials within the Record to Report domain
Key Skills:
- Proven experience with Workday Financials, specifically within General Ledger, Consolidation, and Reporting
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and statutory reporting requirements
- Hands-on experience in financial close processes and reporting cycle optimisation
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and within complex global environments
