Summary: The Workday Project Manager will lead a Phase 2 project focused on deploying Advanced Compensation, Workforce Planning, and L&D modules. This hands-on role requires active involvement in all aspects of the project, including management of the team, project planning, and stakeholder engagement. The position is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in London, with a hybrid working arrangement. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering key project milestones and managing risks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manages the day-to-day activities of the team and all aspects of the programme (Functional, Technical, Change, Testing, Deployment, Cutover) and is responsible for setting deadlines, evaluating milestones, assigning responsibilities and liaising with internal contacts identified as responsible for sign-off of key deliverables
- Manages the project team, providing guidance and support
- Responsible for inputting internally owned project activities into the project plan and working with the Deployment Partner Engagement Manager to baseline the project plan. Tracks progress against the project plan and updates the project plan for the duration of the programme, as required
- Manages agreed solution deliverables and milestones to their completion
- Manages project risks and issues
- Responsible for managing and inputting into change requests/orders.
- Responsible for leading weekly project team meetings re: status reports/progress (supported by PMO).
- Liaises with and manages all 3rd party contractors/vendors.
- Owns workshop planning, supported by PMO.
- Responsible for input into cutover strategy.

I need someone that is very hands on so not looking for a high level Project Manager that just oversees, need someone that is going to roll their sleeves up and get involved.
