p>Workday Project Manager/Workday Implementation Manager - PMP, Agile/Scrum, Workday HRIS Implementation and Migration, Vendor Management, Stakeholder Engagement, Digital Transformation, Workday Module Implementation (Recruitment, HR). London/Remote (Hybrid 3/2). 12 Month FTC, 100k - 120k (On Experience) + Benefits.
Global law firm seeks a Workday Project Manager/Workday Implementation Manager to assist with the implementation and migration to a new corporate Recruitment and HR system employed across the enterprise.
You will work within the full life cycle of Project Management utilising both a PMP approach and Agile/Scrum methodologies (as appropriate for each workstream) to deliver the wholesale implementation and migration to the new Workday HR and Recruitment system which will involve a migration from Select HR (Access Group). The discovery phase is complete and you will now work with internal teams and the vendor to implement the system, customise the platform to the needs of the business and then migrate all company data across prior to release into production.
A major aspect for the Workday Project Manager/Workday Implementation Manager will be to understand the current capabilities of the systems employed by the HR teams, the data managed within the system and the as-is/to-be functionality within the systems. You will need to identify what capability exists within the modules offered by the incoming vendor to ensure that it meets the needs of the business and that there is a well-defined migration path for data moving from one system to another as smoothly as possible.
The Workday Project Manager/Workday Implementation Manager will work with both Workday vendor teams (not delivery partner) and internal technical teams (infrastructure, development, PMO etc) to customise modules based on requirements that you will elicit from the various stakeholders involved in recruitment and talent acquisition, onboarding (inc Service Desk for Starters, Leavers, Access Control etc), staff management and compensation, disciplinary measures, staff welfare matters, promotion and succession planning etc. To this end you will use a mix of PMP and Agile/Scrum methodologies as best suits each deployment. Finally you will oversee the UAT process across the global enterprise.
We are searching for a Project Manager who has worked in a similar role and has recent experience of delivering a new HR system (Workday) to a global organisation; you will have migrated an incumbent HR system to a new system and most likely will have had experience delivering a modular, customisable Workday platform. You will be able to work within the full life cycle of project management from eliciting requirements, creating appropriate documentation, managing issues, risks, change and vendors whilst working with business and technical teams in a mix of methodologies (ideally PMP and Agile/Scrum). Excellent organisation and communication skills will be required. Experience gained in Law Firms/Legal Services/Solicitors beneficial but non-essential. Experience sought will have been gained in end-user environments (not consultancy) working directly with the vendor, as opposed to delivery partner and within commercial, professional services environments.
Excellent opportunity to play a key role in the development of the new HR system (and related systems) to be deployed across a global enterprise. Hybrid working conditions from City of London offices with some requirements for out of hours meetings with offices in Asia. Exceptional benefits and stable environment. 12 Month Fixed Term Contract attracts bonus and benefits and potential for extension/conversion.
