The Role
As Workday Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple small projects simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery across the organisation's Workday environment, including Peakon, Adaptive Planning, Extend and Prism.
You will work closely with senior business stakeholders, internal technology delivery teams, third-party suppliers and Workday support teams to coordinate delivery, manage risks and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of multiple projects, typically ranging from £50k to £200k in value.
- Coordinate project activities across HR, Finance, Technology and external delivery partners.
- Support the delivery of a 2-3-year roadmap of enhancements across the Workday ecosystem.
- Work within Agile and DevSecOps delivery environments, ensuring effective planning, tracking and reporting.
- Manage project risks, dependencies, budgets and stakeholder expectations.
- Utilise Jira to track project progress, manage delivery activities and provide clear reporting.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, translating between business and technical teams.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven Project Management experience, delivering multiple small projects concurrently.
- Experience working within Agile and DevSecOps environments, ideally involving SaaS or low-code/no-code platforms.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience using Jira for project tracking and delivery management.
- Previous exposure to ERP systems, ideally Workday or related enterprise applications.
- Experience coordinating internal delivery teams and external technology suppliers.
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
Please note:
Deep technical expertise in Workday is not essential. We are particularly interested in candidates with strong project delivery experience, an understanding of SaaS environments and the ability to manage multiple workstreams effectively.
