Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive the Prototype 2 build, ensuring milestones and dependencies are managed to plan.
  • Oversee SIT planning, execution, and defect management, ensuring alignment with the wider testing strategy.
  • Prepare and lead into E2E testing, coordinating business readiness and technical handovers.
  • Act as the key interface between Workday functional leads, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Maintain programme governance, RAID management (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), and reporting cadence.
  • Ensure programme documentation, change control, and delivery artefacts are maintained and audit-ready.
  • Support transition planning for the return of the permanent Programme Manager.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience delivering Workday programmes or large-scale HRIS/ERP transformations.
  • Strong background managing multi-phase system implementations, ideally across build, SIT, and E2E testing.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills – able to engage confidently at senior level (CIO, HRD, Finance).
  • Hands-on programme governance and delivery management expertise.
  • Available to start immediately and commit full-time for at least 6–8 weeks.
  • Familiarity with Workday HCM, Payroll, or Finance modules is desirable.
  • Experience in regulated or large enterprise environments is desirable.

Programme Manager to provide interim cover on a critical Workday implementation . You’ll step into an ongoing programme and lead activities through Prototype 2 build , System Integration Testing (SIT) , and preparation for End-to-End (E2E) testing scheduled for December. This role requires a steady, delivery-focused leader who can quickly get to grips with programme detail, manage cross-functional stakeholders, and maintain delivery momentum in a complex Workday environment.
