Summary: The Workday Developer role involves configuring and supporting key Workday modules while collaborating with HR, IT, and business teams to deliver scalable solutions. The position requires hands-on experience with Workday configuration and a strong understanding of Workday CoPilot and security frameworks. The contractor will also maintain documentation, execute data uploads, and support user adoption. This is a hybrid role based in London with a contract lasting until the end of December 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and support key Workday modules: HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, and Absence.
- Design and implement Workday CoPilot and Agent workflows, integrating seamlessly with existing systems and processes.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and business teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Maintain documentation for configurations, integrations, and customisations.
- Execute EIBs and manage mass data uploads with accuracy.
- Support post-implementation troubleshooting and user adoption.
- Stay on top of Workday releases, test new features, and ensure system compatibility.
- Enforce security, compliance, and data privacy standards across all Workday-related operations.
Key Skills:
- 3 years of hands-on Workday configuration experience.
- Strong knowledge and practical use of Workday CoPilot and/or AI Agents.
- Proficiency in Workday Studio, EIBs, calculated fields, and reporting.
- Solid understanding of Workday security and business process frameworks.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
