Summary: The role of Workday Developer involves designing, developing, and maintaining Workday integrations for a global consultancy's transformation programme. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Workday integrations using Core Connectors, Studio, and EIB
- Customise Workday reports (Advanced, Matrix, Composite) and dashboards
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to gather technical requirements
- Provide technical support for Workday modules, particularly HCM, Absence, Compensation, and Talent
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration and configuration issues
- Participate in testing, deployment, and change control activities
- Document technical designs and conduct peer reviews
Key Skills:
- Minimum 3+ years’ hands-on Workday development experience
- Proven experience with Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, and Web Services (SOAP/REST)
- Strong knowledge of Workday data structures and security
- Experience delivering within an Agile or hybrid project environment
- Solid grasp of XML, XSLT, and Workday Report Writer
- Excellent communication skills with ability to work independently and remotely
- Prior experience in client-facing roles, ideally within a consultancy
- Desirable: Workday certifications in Core HCM, Integrations or Studio
- Exposure to Prism, Extend or Adaptive Planning
- Experience working on global deployments or multi-country rollouts
