Summary: The Workday Benefits Consultant role involves supporting a major global enterprise in maximizing the value of Workday’s Benefits module. The consultant will engage with HR, Payroll, and technical stakeholders to enhance benefits functionality while driving improvements in efficiency and user experience. This hands-on position requires expertise in benefits administration, configuration, and process optimization. The contract duration is 6 months, and the role is hybrid.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with HR, Payroll, and Technology stakeholders to understand business needs and align them with Workday Benefits capabilities.
  • Act as an SME providing guidance on configuration approaches, best practices, and system improvements.
  • Lead Workday Benefits configuration, including plan setup, eligibility, life events, rates, enrolment windows, and dependencies.
  • Support annual and mid-year enrolment cycles, including configuration updates and testing.
  • Analyse existing processes, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and improve benefits administration efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with regional requirements and organisational policies.
  • Support system upgrades, new feature deployment, and global rollouts.
  • Build and execute test scripts, manage regression testing, and validate system changes.
  • Provide hands-on issue resolution, ensuring smooth end-to-end operation of the Workday Benefits module.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors on data integrity, integrations, and performance issues.

Key Skills:

  • Extensive experience working with Workday Benefits configuration, optimisation, and administration.
  • Strong understanding of benefit plan structure, enrolment processes, life event logic, and global/regional variations.
  • Strong background in HR or Total Rewards functions, with deep knowledge of benefits administration and compliance.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale or multinational environments.
  • Ability to assess system performance, diagnose issues, and recommend improvements.
