Who we are looking for: We are seeking a WordPress Designer/Developer to lead a rapid refresh of our existing website. This short-term engagement will focus on elevating the site’s visual appeal, credibility, and user experience in preparation for a full redesign project later on.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute a fast, professional visual refresh of the current WordPress site to enhance trustworthiness and engagement.
• Redesign the homepage with bold visuals, videos, and banners that capture attention and align with brand identity.
• Simplify site navigation and reorganize content for a more intuitive and user-friendly experience.
• Refine branding and layout across the site — uplift the logo, improve color and typography consistency, and ensure visual harmony.
• Remove or update outdated sections (e.g., irrelevant content or unclear segments).
• Collaborate directly with the client to integrate content updates, clarify messaging, and ensure the design aligns with strategic goals.
• Ensure full responsiveness and optimize for fast loading speeds across desktop and mobile devices.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in WordPress design and development , including theme customization and use of page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, or similar).
• Strong UX/UI design skills , particularly for youth-focused or visually engaging websites.
• Solid understanding of visual hierarchy , color theory, typography, and imagery for web.
• Ability to simplify complex content and structure logical, intuitive navigation paths.
• Familiarity with web optimization best practices (image, video, and performance).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with clients.
• A portfolio showcasing modern, visually compelling WordPress projects.
