Summary: The Wing Airframe DMU & Configuration Specialist role involves overseeing the integrity and validation of the Digital Mock-Up (DMU) environment for next-generation wing programs at a client site in Filton. Key Responsibilities:

Key Skills:

MERITUS are recruiting for a Wing Airframe DMU & Configuration Specialist to join our client on an initial 9 month contract from their site in Filton.

WING AIRFRAME DMU & CONFIGURATION SPECIALIST - INSIDE IR35 - £40 PER HOUR - FILTON (60% HYBRID SPLIT) - 9 MONTHS - SINGLE STAGE INTERVIEW PROCESS

You will sit at the centre of Wing Research & Technology activity, owning the integrity and validation of the Digital Mock-Up (DMU) environment across multiple next-generation wing programmes.

This is not a modelling role.
This is a configuration and integration authority position.

Working within the Wing R&T perimeter, you will:

  • Lead development and governance of the Wing DMU

  • Maintain Real Time digital configuration integrity across multi-disciplinary design teams

  • Own clash detection, product structure management and integration validation

  • Ensure export-compliant data exchange (ITAR-aware environment)

  • Interface across structures, systems installation and research partners across Europe

You will operate at the intersection of:

  • CATIA V5/3DX

  • PDM/VPM configuration structures

  • Aircraft build process awareness

  • Composite structure considerations

  • Cross-functional design integration

This role offers exposure to early-stage wing architecture development on next-generation aircraft platforms.
