Summary: We are looking for an experienced Windows Server Team Leader to oversee a major programme starting in April. This hands-on leadership role involves transitioning an established Windows team to deliver operational support and project work effectively. The position requires close collaboration with the existing team lead to ensure proper resource planning and onboarding of new staff. SC Clearance is mandatory for candidates applying for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the Windows Team across operational and project activities
- Assess team skills, capacity, and workload to plan and schedule resources effectively
- Support recruitment activities, including reviewing CVs and interviewing permanent and contract staff
- Work alongside the existing lead, providing leadership and operational support as required
- Facilitate onboarding of new starters, including provisioning system access
- Make informed technical decisions to support delivery and maintain service quality
Key Skills:
- Strong technical background in Microsoft Windows environments
- Experience managing or leading Windows infrastructure teams
- Good understanding of Microsoft 365 (O365), both on-premises and cloud
- Proven ability to plan resources and manage team workloads
- Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding processes
- Confident decision-maker with strong stakeholder engagement skills
Salary (Rate): £525.00 daily
