Summary: Senior Windows Infrastructure Engineer position available at a leading investment bank in London. Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and support Windows Server environments (2012-2022).
  • Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Support virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
  • Automate tasks using PowerShell.
  • Monitor system performance and apply updates/patches.
  • Implement backups and disaster recovery processes.
  • Support hybrid cloud environments (eg, Azure, O365).
  • Provide 2nd/3rd line infrastructure support.

Key Skills:

  • 5+ years in Windows infrastructure or systems engineering.
  • Strong skills in AD, GPO, and Windows Server.
  • PowerShell Scripting experience.
  • Virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V).
  • Good understanding of networking basics.
  • Background in banking/financial services.
  • Desirable: Azure, Office 365, Intune experience.
  • Microsoft certifications (eg, MCSA, AZ-104).
  • Experience with SCCM, monitoring tools, ITIL practices.

*Inside IR35 - 2 days a week on site*

Role Overview:
