Summary: Our international client is seeking a Senior Technical Windows Engineer for a 12-month freelance B2B contract with a strong likelihood of extension. This hybrid role requires on-site presence in Sheffield for three days a week, with two days remote work. The position demands proficiency in Windows Operating Systems and experience with various DevOps tools and scripting languages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain Windows Operating System and Microsoft Cluster environments.
  • Utilize DevOps tools for orchestration and configuration management, including Ansible, Jenkins, or Puppet.
  • Perform scripting tasks using Python or Shell for data management.
  • Work with VMware Virtualization Hypervisor.
  • Understand networking principles related to the OS, including TCP/IP port management and firewalls.
  • Utilize MuleSoft or Postman for API development and integration with Ansible playbooks.
