Summary: The Windows 11 Technical Consultant role involves supporting a strategic Windows 11 migration project for a leading organization in South Wales. The consultant will leverage expertise in Microsoft Intune and SCCM to create technical design documentation and engage with architectural governance. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement and is outside IR35. The role is set to start as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of a strategic Windows 11 migration project.
- Translate complex technical configurations into formal design documentation.
- Engage with the Architecture Review Board for design submissions.
- Deliver Windows 11 migration or deployment projects in enterprise environments.
- Write technical design documents and present to architectural governance bodies.

- Proven experience in Windows 11 migration or deployment projects.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Intune and SCCM.
- Ability to write technical design documents.
- Solid understanding of Group Policy and Windows Update for Business.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft Intune and SCCM, with the ability to translate complex technical configurations into formal design documentation for submission to the Architecture Review Board.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience delivering Windows 11 migration or deployment projects in enterprise environments
- Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager) and Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
- Demonstrated ability to write technical design documents and present to architectural governance bodies
- Solid understanding of Group Policy, Windows Update for Business, and modern endpoint management
- Familiarity with security baselines, compliance policies, and device lifecycle management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
