Summary: The role of Windows 11 Deployment Engineer involves supporting a Windows 11 rollout at a single site in Somerset for a duration of 3 months. Key Responsibilities:

  • Swap SSDs where needed
  • Carry out basic Active Directory tasks
  • Back up user data and coordinate with staff for upgrade times
  • Test and validate kit to ensure everything works (eg printers, apps)

Key Skills:

  • Experience in a similar Windows 11 deployment role, with emphasis on imaging devices via PXE boot or USB media
  • Hands-on hardware skills (eg swapping SSDs)
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory (basic admin tasks)

We're looking for an Windows 11 Deployment Engineer to support a current Windows 11 rollout at a single site based in Somerset. You'll be joining an existing IT team to help support the project, which is current inflight. This is expected to be for a period of 3 months, and the working hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.
