Summary: The role of Wind Turbine Authorised Technicians (AT) involves recruiting experienced L-ATs and IRATA Rope Access Technicians for projects across Sunderland, Teesside, Scotland, and offshore locations. This is a contract role for Ltd Company Contractors, offering a competitive hourly rate and a rotational working schedule. Candidates must possess relevant certifications and experience in the wind industry or offshore work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform leading edge repairs including filling, sanding, and painting.
- Apply Bergolin Leading Edge Protection (LEP) coating system.
- Complete all work to OEM repair procedures and industry HSE standards.
- Ensure clear reporting and quality assurance on every job.
Key Skills:
- Valid IRATA Level 1/2/3 certification.
- ATS registration (Active Technician Status).
- Current GWO certifications (BST, BTT where applicable).
- OGUK / Fit to Work medical.
- Working at Height & Rescue certificates.
- Proven wind industry or offshore experience.

Scope of Work:
Scope 1:
- Fill, sand, and paint leading edges
Scope 2:
- Fill, sand, and application of Bergolin Leading Edge Protection (LEP) coating system
All work to be completed to OEM repair procedures and industry HSE standards, with clear reporting and quality assurance on every job.
