Summary: SAP VIM Consultant expert required for a 12-month contract on an SAP S/4HANA Programme in the UK. The consultant will work closely with various teams to ensure efficient invoice processing and automation within the SAP environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement, configure, and support OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) integrated with SAP Finance (FI) and Procurement (MM).
  • Ensure efficient invoice processing, accounts payable automation, and workflow management.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Shared Services, and IT teams for automated AP operations.
  • Perform configuration, support, and testing activities in SAP Retail Promotions area.
  • Partner with stakeholders to derive E2E test scenarios for SAP VIM workstream.
  • Act as liaison with clients, product vendors, and QA teams to convert BPD into E2E test scenarios.
  • Manage testing issues within the program with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Drive adherence to the template and ensure system and process integrity.
  • Work independently and manage tasks effectively under pressure.

Key Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as an SAP Consultant in VIM.
  • Experience with two or more full life implementations.
  • Knowledge in gathering requirements, configuring systems, testing, training, and supporting project go-live.
  • Configuration knowledge in VIM, Invoice Capture Center, Open Text Archive Server, and SAP AP, AR, GL.
  • Hands-on experience in Accounts Payable.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and plan work into definable tasks.

SAP VIM Consultant expert required for an SAP S/4HANA Programme based in the UK on a Contract basis for 12 months.

SAP VIM Functional Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) integrated with SAP Finance (FI) and Procurement (MM). The role ensures efficient invoice processing, accounts payable automation, workflow management, exception handling, compliance, and seamless integration across SAP S/4HANA or ECC systems. The consultant collaborates closely with Finance, Procurement, Shared Services, and IT teams to enable automated, digitized AP operations.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Perform configuration, support and testing activities in SAP Retail Promotions area
  • Partner with key stakeholders to derive the E2E test scenarios for SAP VIM workstream
  • Act as liaison with client, product vendor and QA team to successfully convert the BPD into E2E test scenario
  • Works closely with the client IT organization and client Process
  • Owners to ensure system and process integrity of the Template
  • and to drive adherence to the template – ensuring that only critical
  • requirements are approved.
  • Effective in managing testing issues within a program with
  • Appropriate stakeholders where there is SAP VIM involvement.

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:

  • SAP Consultant with minimum 5 years’ experience in VIM

  • Experience and responsibility for gathering requirements, configuring the system, testing, training and supporting the project go-live and maintenance.
  • Experience and configuration knowledge in VIM – bolt on, Invoice Capture Center, Open Text Archive Server, and SAP AP, AR, GL.
  • Hands-on SAP experience in Accounts Payable
  • Ability to work independently and capable of planning his work and able to articulate it into definable tasks
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
