Summary: The Wholesale Banking Project Manager – Client Expansion will oversee the end-to-end delivery of a strategic project, ensuring it aligns with regulatory, commercial, and operational goals. This role involves extensive stakeholder management and coordination across various internal teams. The Project Manager will also be responsible for project planning, execution, and reporting to senior management. The position requires a strong background in managing complex projects within financial services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to meet critical milestones including regulatory approvals, operating model design, and commercial launch.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Treasury Services, Risk & Compliance, Legal, Product Governance, Sales, Technology, to ensure alignment and timely decision-making.
- Support submission and follow-up of regulatory applications.
- Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Legal teams to implement governance frameworks.
- Work with Sales and Marketing to co-ordinate pricing mechanisms, and sales training to support client acquisition and revenue growth.
- Provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and issue resolution to senior management and project sponsors.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects in financial services.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders including legal, compliance, risk, technology, and commercial teams.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills mandatory.
- Ability to manage timelines effectively.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools and their integration into daily workflows will be considered a strong advantage.
